The Ouinchs – small, mis­chie­vous fairies – unleash an exu­ber­ant dance per­for­mance that swings effort­less­ly between tra­di­tion­al folk dance and con­tem­po­rary club danc­ing. Ener­gy, dra­ma, expres­sive move­ment: wild, queer and free. Inspired by the dance style of Krump cul­ture, the dancers weave their indi­vid­ual styles into a shared rhythm. To beats of DJ Mulah, Ouinch Ouinch’s intox­i­cat­ing, queer round dance tra­vers­es the ages, from medieval trou­ba­dours to HipHop beats, sweep­ing up every body along the way. What begins as a per­for­mance grad­u­al­ly opens to an euphor­ic cel­e­bra­tion that con­nects and lib­er­ates. A feast for the sens­es!
