The white sheet has many uses and is a powerful symbol. It dresses ghosts, harbours dreams, protects neglected objects and sometimes our memories.
Le G. Bistaki play with this everyday object, transforming the bodies and the stage in a web of poetic and real scenes. Confronted with our own blinkers, we experience the tension between two worlds that exist side by side, attracting and resisting each other: the visible and the invisible, the forgotten and the present, the real and the ghostly. “Tancarville” is a social satire in which the absurd embraces humour.
