Peter Trabner [DE]

«Das Leben des Diogenes. Alles für die Tonne!»

First as Empedocles, now as a modern reincarnation of Diogenes of Sinope: Peter Trabner joins Diogenes in the barrel and philosophizes about what drives people in today’s turbo capitalist age. The Greek philosopher Diogenes had the opinion that everything material, striving for power, money, and civic prestige prevents people from living in accordance with their nature and achieving true happiness. Is what Diogenes demanded in ancient Greece still possible today – to renounce consumption?
