Engel & Sommer [DE]

«Vom Ende her. Ein Requiem für das fossile Zeitalter»

[premiere]

A wasteland. Where until recently there was a clear path, there is now rough terrain. It’s not easy to find your way through this landscape of cracks, breaks, and holes. Saying goodbye to the old certainties. To leave the comfort zone of infinite availability. To rehearse a new performance in which people do not play the leading role. Together with their accomplices and the strolling audience, Engel & Sommer lend their ears to wild herbs and earthworms, follow the trombone deep underground, search for a pink pavilion, and lay logs in the fire. Step by step, egg by egg. The future begins in the transition to not seeing.

With: Moritz Anthes, Jakob Engel, Paula Erstmann, Thomas Meckel, Jascha Sommer, Laura Strack
