A dancer and a musician find their rhythm in the dancepiece “Bien Parado”. The Sevillana meets electronic music and the result is an ode to freedom and an intense struggle for emancipation. The piece tells of an intimate revolution stirred up by the changes in a troubled world and opens up a necessary dialogue between heritage and deconstruction. “Bien Parado” is a pose in the Sevillana dance tradition of southern Spain. Jane Fournier and Cédric Froin bring together the tradition of dance passed down for generations with the world of the night, in which bodies dance freed from all rules.
