“MAÑA” shows how two crafts­men cre­ate a huge arch from a large num­ber of heavy box­es — using only their hands and a few tools such as levers, pul­leys, and wheels. The meth­ods have been hand­ed down for cen­turies — and the crafts­men — or are they artists? — want to bring this valu­able knowl­edge to life, which in a few cen­turies has changed from craft to arti­san­ry and now to art. As if a grand­fa­ther is pass­ing on his tra­di­tions to his grand­chil­dren. Skill, inge­nu­ity, and the use of ancient tech­nol­o­gy are the keys!
