A sculp­ture of raw wood­en beams and rugged ket­tle balls is car­ried through the city by many hands, becom­ing in that moment a col­lec­tive move­ment. IM BAU cel­e­brates the poet­ry of the every­day: the rhyth­mic monot­o­ny of phys­i­cal labour, the med­i­ta­tive pow­er of car­ry­ing togeth­er, the qui­et inten­si­ty of togeth­er­ness. In this process, the act of trans­port itself becomes a metaphor for sol­i­dar­i­ty, for build­ing some­thing greater, for the beau­ty of the unfin­ished. The bound­aries between artist, audi­ence and work begin to blur, and all involved become co-cre­ators of a fleet­ing, ever-shift­ing struc­ture.
